In celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life, and in conjunction with the 2014 Graphic Design Festival Breda, this poster explores Mandela as a freedom poet. The visual narrative positions Mandela seen through the South African flag, a metaphor for both the struggle and ambitions he aspired to achieve for his country throughout his lifetime.

UNITE explores the invariable relationship between old and new forms of communication, by means of coding and decoding. Posters were screen printed with two colors, then hung around the college to announce the visiting lecturer. Design for Alexis Rockman and Sarah Charlesworth lectures, assisting in printing for other posters in the series.
